GOT2 takes part in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. Both enzymes are homodimeric and demonstrate close homology.GOT2 Recombinant Mouse produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 424 amino acids (30-430 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 46.8kDa. Mouse GOT2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
