Cyclophilin-A can also interact with several HIV proteins; including p55 gag; Vpr; and capsid protein; and has been shown to be necessary for the formation of infectious HIV virions. Multiple pseudogenes that map to different chromosomes have been reported.Cyclophilin-A Rat Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain (Val2-Leu164) containing 173 amino acids including a 10 aa His tag at N-terminus.
