Cyclophilin-A is a cyclosporin binding-protein and may play a role in cyclosporin A-mediated immunosuppression. Cyclophilin-A can also interact with several HIV proteins; including p55 gag; Vpr; and capsid protein; and has been shown to be necessary for the formation of infectious HIV virions. Multiple pseudogenes that map to different chromosomes have been reported.Cyclophilin A Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 187 amino acids (1-164a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 20.4kDa.Cyclophilin A is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
