Interleukin-6 induces nerve cells differentiation; among hepatocytes it induces acute phase reactants.IL6 Human Recombinant produced in Baculovirus is a single glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 189 amino acids (30-212aa) and having a molecular mass of 21.6kDa.(Migrates at 18-28kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions).IL6 is fused to a 6 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
