- Source : E.coli. YEATS4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 250 amino acids (1-227 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 28.9kDa. YEATS4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. YEATS Domain Containing 4 (YEATS4) has a high sequence homology to the human MLLT1; and yeast and human MLLT3 proteins. MLLT1 and MLLT3 proteins; both belong to a group of transcription factors; which indicates that YEATS might also represent a transcription factor. YEATS is believed to be necessary for RNA transcription. The YEATS gene has been shown to be amplified in tumors.
