HRSP12 Human Recombinant fused with a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated; polypeptide chain containing 157 amino acids (1-137 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 16.6kDa. The HRSP12 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. HRSP12 (UK114) is an endoribonuclease found mainly in the human adult kidney and liver; and which is responsible for inhibiting translation by cleaving mRNA. HRSP12 cleaves phosphodiester bonds only in single-stranded RNA. HRSP12 may be an important biomarker for heptatic carcinoma.
