HOXB13 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 307 amino acids (1-284 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.1kDa.HOXB13 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. HOXB13 is a transcription factor and a member of the homeobox gene family which are extremely conserved in vertebrates and vital for vertebrate embryonic development. HOXB13 is involved in fetal skin development and cutaneous regeneration. In mice; a similar gene displayed temporal and spatial colinearity in the main body axis of the embryo; however it was not expressed in the secondary axes; implying that it has a roles in body patterning along the axis.
