GDI2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 468 amino acids (1-445) and having a molecular mass of 53.1 kDa.GDI2 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Rab GDP dissociation inhibitor beta isoform 1 (GDI2) is a member of the GDP dissociation inhibitors (GDIs) family. GDI proteins can bind and release GDP-bound Rab proteins from membranes. GDI1 interacts with virtually all of the Rab proteins; whereas GDI2 interacts with Rabll but not Rab3A. GDI2 distributes ubiquitously; presenting a membrane bound location in perinuclear regions of cells.
