EYA2 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 295 amino acids (244-514) and having a molecular mass of 33.2kDa.EYA2 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. EYA2 belongs to tyrosine phosphatase family which specifically dephosphorylates 'Tyr-142' of histone H2AX (H2AXY142ph). EYA2 promotes effective DNA mending by dephosphorylating H2AX; promoting the enlistment of DNA repair complexes having MDC1. EYA2 role as histone phosphatase can explain its part in transcription regulation during organogenesis.
