CSN2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (16-226 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.6kDa.CSN2 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Beta-casein precursor (CSN2) is a member of the beta-casein family. CSN2 has an imperative role in determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles. CSN2 is specific to mammary glands and is secreted in milk.
