- Source : E.coli. AP3S1 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 213 amino acids (1-193) and having a molecular mass of 23.8 kDa. AP3S1 is fused to 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. AP-3 complex subunit sigma-1 (AP3S1) belongs to the AP-3 complex; an adapter-related complex which is not clathrin-associated. AP3S1 is linkd with the Golgi region in addition to more peripheral structures. AP3S1 facilitates the budding of vesicles from the Golgi membrane and involved in trafficking to lysosomes.
