STK17B Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 395 amino acids (1-372 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 44.7kDa.STK17B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Serine/threonine kinase 17b (STK17B) is a member of the protein kinase superfamily. STK17B functions as a positive regulator of apoptosis. STK17B interacts with CHP1; this interaction stimulates CHP1 to translocate from the Golgi to the nucleus. STK17B is highly expressed in the placenta; lung; pancreas; however it has lower levels in the heart; brain; liver; skeletal muscle and kidney.
