NDUFB9 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 202 amino acids (1-179) and having a molecular mass of 24.2kDa.NDUFB9 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 beta subcomplex subunit 9 (NDUFB9) which is a part of the complex I LYR family is localized to the internal mitochondrial membrane; as well as to the matrix side of the peripheral membrane. NDUFB9 serves as an accessory subunit of the multi-subunit mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase complex I. Complex I takes a crucial part in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain; a process which is vital for cellular respiration.
