GZMK Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 261 amino acids (27-264 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 28.2kDa.GZMK is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. GZMK is a part of a group of related serine proteases from the cytoplasmic granules of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Cytolytic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells have the outstanding ability to bind; recognize and lyse specific target cells. They defend their host by lysing cells bearing on their surface 'nonself' antigens; usually peptides or proteins resulting from infection by intracellular pathogens.
