Proteins in this family are located on the surface of antigen-presenting cells and interact with ligand bound to receptors on the surface of T cells. High level of the encoded protein has been associated with tumor progression. VCTN1 also takes part in promoting epithelial cell transformation.VTCN1 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 244 amino acids (25-259a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.9kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40kDa). VTCN1 is expressed with a 9 amino acids His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
