- Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile filtered colorless solution.LIN28 is a marker of undifferentiated human embryonic stem cells and it increases the productivity of the formation of induced pluripotent stem cells from human fibroblasts. LIN28 acts as a 'translational enhancer and therefore leading specific mRNAs to polysomes and causes an increased protein synthesis. LIN28 binds let-7 pre-miRNA and blocks production of the mature let-7 microRNA in mouse embryonic stem cells.Recombinant Human LIN28 produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 222 amino acids (including 13- residue C-terminal TAT peptide) and having a molecular mass of 24.4kDa. The LIN28 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
