- Source: Sf9; Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.CD72 antigen is a member of the type II integral membrane glycoproteins which includes other related cell surface moleculaes such as the asialoglycoprotein receptors; CD23 and the Kupffer cell recpeotr. The exposure of B cells to CD72 antibodies activates a variety of signalling pathways and can induce MHC class II expression and B cell proliferation. CD72 antigen is expressed on all cells of B cell lineage with the exception of plasma cells and weakly on human tissue macrophages.CD72 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single; glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 485 amino acids (117-359a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 55.3kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 50-70kDa).CD72 is expressed with a 242 amino acid hIgG-His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
