FGF14 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 271 amino acids (1-247 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 30kDa.FGF14 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Fibroblast Growth Factor 14 (FGF14) belongs to the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF family members have broad mitogenic and cell survival activities; and are involved in a various biological processes; including embryonic development; cell growth; morphogenesis; tissue repair; tumor growth and invasion. FGF14 gene mutation is linked with autosomal dominant cerebral ataxia.
