APOH Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single; non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 349 amino acids (20-345 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 38.6kDa.APOH is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Apolipoprotein H (APOH) attaches to numerous kinds of negatively charged substances for instance heparin; phospholipids; and dextran sulfate. APOH prevents activation of the intrinsic blood coagulation cascade by attaching to phospholipids on the surface of damaged cells. APOH expressed by the liver and secreted in the plasma.
