- The ISRE Leeporter™ Luciferase Reporter cell line is a stably transfected HEK293 cell line which expresses Renilla luciferase reporter gene under the transcriptional control of the Interferon-Stimulated Response Element (ISRE). Activation of the reporter cell line triggers phosphorylation of interferon regulatory factors (IRFs). The phosphorylated IRFs can then translocate to the nucleus; bind to ISRE; and lead to the Renilla luciferase reporter protein expression. Functional activity of the cell line has been validated by IFN-alpha (Figure 1).
