- Avidin was prepared from chromatographically purified avidin isolated from egg white followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Avidin was assayed by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Avidin. No reaction was observed against anti-Streptavidin.
