DB Biotech is an innovative biotech company founded in 2006 focused on the design and production of high quality monospecific rabbit clonal antibodies used in basic, clinical, applied research and clinical diagnostics.
The original “in vitro cloning technology” developed and owned by the company enables the preparation of a pure immunoglobulin fraction corresponding to a single clone of B lymphocytes. The obtained immunoglobulin recognizes one single linear epitope on the antigen molecule and the influence of the protein tertiary structure – frequently present in epitopes formed during production of standard monoclonal antibodies – is eliminated in immunoglobulins corresponding to the clonal antibody. The resulting antibody is characterized by the highest possible specificity, affinity and avidity.
DB Biotech currently offers two lines of antibodies– for research use ELISA, WB, IP application and for clinical diagnostics IHC application. We are also developing a panel of unique antibodies for flow cytometry application. They focus on difficult targets and offer custom design and production services and solutions to scientific community or industry clients.
