Agrenvec (AGRE001)
Agrenvec focuses on the production of Recombinant Proteins in non-transgenic plants through the transient expression of a viral vector. The cytokines and growth factors they produce are ≥ 97 % Pure, 100% Active, 100% Animal-free and have endotoxin levels that are two orders of magnitude lower than those of other expression systems.
They also produce polyclonal antibodies using these plant-produced proteins as immunogens. As a result, these antibodies do not cross-react with other proteins of mammalian origin, they produce very low background signals (they are highly specific) and they have very high sensitivity (< 1ng/100μl sampler in alkaline phosphatase ELISA). These antibodies only require 1h incubation as a primary antibody in a Western Blot.
