 2BScientific signs distribution agreement with Gen-Probe

 Heyford Park, Oxford, UK (20^th June 2011): 2BScientific, a leading life science products distributor to the UK market, has signed an agreement that will see the company become the exclusive UK and Ireland distribution partner of Gen-Probe’s Diaclone immunology products.

 The agreement covers sales, distribution and customer service of:

·         Diaclone monoclonal antibodies, which are available for intracellular and cell surface membrane analysis; and can recognise both recombinant and natural proteins acting as neutralizing, agonistic and enhancer antibodies.

·         Diaclone ELISAs, which can recognise both natural and recombinant antigen specificity; are available in a number of formats from pre-coated kits to matched antibody pairs; and that come with removable strip plates and multiple standards that enable multiple assays from each ELISA kit.

·         Diaclone ELISpots that are highly sensitive immunoassays, allowing the detection of a single cell out of 100,000; which enable mono and dual cytokine analysis available using both enzymatic (ELISpot) and fluorescent (Flurospot) detection systems.

·         DIAplex assays that can measure up to 10 analytes simultaneously from a small sample volume; allow customers to choose from ready configured detection panels or create their own; and come with simple to use software that is provided free of charge.
