2BScientific and Symansis announce a new marketing and logistics collaboration
Oxford, UK / Timaru, New Zealand (21st June 2010): 2BScientific, a life science products distributor to the UK market, and Symansis, a New Zealand-based company that produces high quality reagents for cell biology researchers, have announced a new marketing collaboration for Symansis products from June. This will include a European distribution and logistic centre that will shorten the time taken for Symansis’ European customers to receive their products. The agreement also includes co-marketing of Symansis products in Europe — the products will continue to be sold via Symansis’ existing distributor network, improving the service that they receive.
2BScientific already supplies specialist immunological reagents including antibodies, flow cytometry, and PCR to European life science markets. The deal with Symansis will see the company offer additional antibodies; assays, human cell expressed (HCX) proteins and tools for cell signalling research including inhibitors and multi-kinase “ELISA” assays.

The agreement will also see 2BScientific:
• Promote Symansis training course and seminars
• Host road shows across Europe
• Jointly attend exhibitions and conferences with Symansis
Additionally, this agreement allows both companies to offer customers enhanced service, expertise and product sourcing options.
