Farjad Ahmed
With a background in biochemistry and molecular biology he has wide ranging experience in enzymology, bio-processing, drug development, medical diagnostics and detection technologies. He was the main technical lead in the European Union’s study into ports and borders security against bio-threats.
An extensive academic career, based upon numerous publications and patents, was then followed by a number of years in the Biotech industry developing an understanding of Method Development, Technology Transfer, Quality and Regulation.
He has been responsible for project managing research activities (both in-house & outsourced), and also for product development.
More recently he has been involved in market research / business intelligence, feeding directly into strategic product pipelining. He is now the Technical Sales Manager for 2B Scientific.
